Magnus Health Centre seeks self-employed GP Partners for full or part-time positions. Doctors will have a fully managed clinic, complete staff support, and on-site blood testing. A Telus Health EMR subscription and high-speed internet are also provided. GPs only need to see patients; all administrative tasks, including billing, are handled by Magnus Health Centre, allowing doctors to maintain a personal life outside the clinic. In return Magnus Health Centre will charge a percentage of billing

Things to keep in mind:
  • Currently no caps on billing for MD Family Doctors
  • Belleville City Currently has no Walk-in Clinic and the hospital has a 14+ hour wait time due to non emergent cases. These are patients that can be seen by the walk in Clinic.
  • Magnus health Centre is located Directly across from Belleville hospital.
  • Belleville is offering a $150,000 Cash bonus for Joining Magnus Health Centre. (terms and conditions apply).
  • Practicing Doctors from United Kingdom, United States of America, Ireland and Australia can be eligible to move to Canada and transfer their licence to Ontario.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient examinations and gather medical histories, order diagnostic tests such as lab work and X-rays, and consult with other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe and administer medication and treatments tailored to patients' needs.
  • Assist with or perform routine surgical procedures.
  • Provide emergency medical care and manage acute health conditions.
  • Administer vaccinations to prevent and treat illnesses.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree from recognized university.
  • Graduation from Recognized Medical School.
  • Must be able to get licence from College of physicians in Ontario.

Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse

Magnus Health Centre is looking for Nurse Practitioners with experience in patient management to deliver compassionate care in a team environment that is responsive to the healthcare needs of our community.<br />The successful candidate will work with GP’s and allied health care providers to deliver high-quality service. The individuals will develop and implement creative and efficient strategies to optimize client health outcomes

Responsibilities:
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging reports within the scope of RN, Extended Class.
  • Perform physical exams, PAP tests, well baby visits, immunizations, diabetes care, and preventative health visits.
  • Work with GP’s and allied health care providers to ensure the highest standard of care during testing, consultation and follow-up.
  • Provide routine care to patients in accordance with the NP scope of practice.
  • Supervise testing and provide emergency care as required.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse Practitioner.
  • Must meet CNO’s Controlled Substances Education Requirement for ordering prescriptions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office.
  • Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate.
  • Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as RN (Extended Class).
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Experience with pediatrics, adult and senior care, chronic disease management, and women's health.
  • Proficient with computers and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
